In this two-day workshop, we will explore how artificial intelligence tools can be integrated with culturally responsive teaching practices to address the unique needs of diverse urban classrooms. K-12 teachers, administrators, and coaches will examine practical strategies for leveraging AI technologies to amplify student voices, preserve cultural identities, and create more equitable learning environments. Through collaborative activities and thoughtful discussion, attendees will develop actionable plans to harness the potential of AI while centering the cultural wealth and lived experiences of urban students and communities.
