UCLA Writing Project Summer Camp

Let your imagination lead the way this summer as you write fiction, fantasy, and personal narratives. Construct new worlds and get into the heads of characters of your own invention.
In our workshop, you will write short stories, record memories, and practice inserting dialogue into your text. You will share your work with your peers, and at the end of our course, you will select a few pieces to publish in our class anthology.
Join this workshop to develop your writing craft and collaborate with other creative writers.
Fee: $650
Raquela Bases is a 4th grade teacher at Charles White Visual Arts LACMA Magnet in Los Angeles, California. She is a graduate of UCLA’s Teacher Education Program. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, writing, painting, and swimming in the ocean.
