The UCLA History Project is excited to announce the 2018-2019 “History PD Series”. These workshops are designed to support history educators in aligning units and lessons to the instructional shifts embedded in the History-Social Science Framework. With lectures from leading scholars, each workshop will help educators gain deeper historical knowledge on a particular topic. Every workshop will also showcase a lesson that will highlight the content through inquiry and literacy.

This initial series will focus on World History and “Sites of Encounters”. Each workshop costs $150, or you can sign up for both workshops for $250. Additionally, teachers who sign up for both workshops will be able to apply for UCLA Extension credits.
