Music as Activism: A Hands-on Workshop

$30Join us and Dr. Martha Gonzalez, a Chicana artivista {artist/activist) musician, feminist music theorist and Assistant Professor in the Intercollegiate Department of Chicana/o Latina/o Studies at Scripps Colleges as she discusses the collective songwriting process and engages participants in the process. When practiced in community, songwriting can be a powerful exercise in collective knowledge production.
For K-12 teachers
No musical experience is needed to participate in this Interactive workshop.

Fee: $30
