Join UCLA Center X, the UCLA History and Geography Project and Latinos in Heritage Conservation for a free teacher’s virtual workshop.
Let’s reimagine what and how we teach about the narratives of Latinx communities in our nation. Join us for an interactive, engaging, and resource filled workshop to get ready for the new school year. We will hear from public historians and other scholars, focus on anti-essentialism, discover new content and pedagogies, and learn how to use GIS tools to center Latinx heritage resources in the classroom.
The workshop will be hosted via Zoom and registration is open to all educators.
