Master of Education Degree Programs for Teachers


Principal Leadership Institute

The Principal Leadership Institute is a 15-month program that prepares educators to be social justice leaders, while earning the Master’s degree in education and the California Tier 1 Administrative Credential. The program begins in the summer and continues through the following summer.

Master of Education in Urban Teaching

Designed as a rigorous 4-quarter program (Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring) the program prepares K-12 teachers to develop critical perspectives on teaching, curriculum, instruction, and the social, political and cultural issues facing their schools and neighborhood communities.

Certification Programs for Teachers


National Board Certification Support

The UCLA NBPTS Project Support Cohort supports candidates through the year-long National Board Certification journey. The support cohort begins in the summer and continues to meet once a month throughout the year.
