CGI – Cognitively Guided Instruction Workshop 1 (Grades K – 5) & Teacher Lab
During this 3-day workshop, we will focus on the development of children’s mathematical thinking in grades K-5. We will explore how children’s understandings of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division while developing how students construct concepts of place value.
Young Mathematicians: Fractions for Grade 3-6 Students
In this 5-day workshop, 3rd through 5th grade students will explore grouping problems, with an emphasis on algebraic reasoning, and students' fraction understanding.

K-12 educators, join us for a free three-day summer institute where we'll collaborate with scholars, artists, activists, and archivists to create lessons incorporating oral histories of Black Los Angeles artists, as part of Getty’s African American Art and History Initiative.
