This professional development is designed for TK-5 teachers and administrators who wish to learn how the Cognitively Guided Instruction (CGI) approach supports mathematical thinking and academic language development for students who are learning a second language. Participants will explore connections to the Common Core State Standards for Mathematical Practice and Content Standards.
