UCLA Writing Project 40th Anniversary Celebration

Dear Writing Project Fellows,

To all who participated in one of our UCLA Writing Project Invitationals– as long ago as 1977, as recently as 2016,

You are cordially invited to join us on Saturday, September 16 to CELEBRATE our 40th Anniversary.

We’ll renew acquaintances, meet new friends, reminisce. Then it’s writing time—just for us. We’ll have choices: memoir, poetry, non-fiction.

Here’s a more precise schedule:

8:00 – 8:30 Registration and continental breakfast
8:30 – 9:30 The “Program”: What We’ve Been Up To These Past 40 Years
9:40 – 11:10 Writing workshop sessions—first round
11:20 – 12:50 Writing workshop sessions—second round
12:50 – 1:30 Elegant box lunches—stay as long as you like!

All this for $40—including parking, continental breakfast, lunch.
