UCLA’s Department of Education tied for #3 among education schools
“Our scholars are at the forefront of fundamental work on two of the issues that define the future of our democracy moving forward — education for the flourishing all students – above all students in our most underserved communities, and information, so that all members of society have the tools required in the 21st century for access to knowledge, authentic autonomy and self-governance,” said Marcelo M. Suárez-Orozco, Wasserman Dean of the UCLA Graduate School of Education and Information Studies. “Our excellence flows from the brilliance of our faculty and students, the ethic of social justice, and our authentic engagement with multiple communities in Los Angeles and beyond. While we are mindful of the limitations and fluctuations in these rankings, we are nevertheless gratified to be reminded of the admiration and recognition of our work by our peers around the country.”
