MATH IDENTITY
PARTNERSHIP GOALS

Equity, Access & Generative Growth

Developing equitable access to balanced and culturally relevant instruction.

Working with teachers (in a PDSA cycle) to continuously reflect on our facilitation in order to provide students with experiences, opportunities to develop conceptual understanding and make meaning of mathematics and articulate how mathematics is “important to me.”

Mathematical Identity: “We are all Mathematicians”

Building our (positive) mathematical identities together as leaders and teachers.

Developing more robust understanding of what it means to do mathematics. We collectively push back and redefine on what it looks like to be a “doer of mathematics.”

Mathematical Content Knowledge

Developing connected understandings of the California  Mathematics Content Standards from grade 4 through Algebra I.

Using data science and incorporating the 2023 California Math Framework, while leveraging math curriculum to provide authentic learning experiences for students.
