  • Unlocking Literacy: Improving Reading, Writing Skills for Multilingual/ELD Students (Grades 6-12)

    What happens when we offer students opportunities to identify with literature studied in our classrooms as well as windows for learning about the world around them? With a focus on multilingual learners, collaborative model lessons and discourse, participants will be able to walk away from this workshop with sample lessons of rigorous and exciting texts that support analytical reading, writing and discourse.

  • Improving Student Writing Workshop (Grades 7-12)

    Learn specific strategies that lead to growth in student writers. The most exciting part of teaching writing is watching students improve! All students can develop their competence and confidence in writing when they engage in instruction tailored to their needs.
