The CGI 2025 Regional Conference calls our community of educators to consider how Cognitively Guided Instruction and the 2023 California Mathematics Framework invite us to ground our practice in the mathematical brilliance of students.

Who is invited?

We invite all PreK-6 educators (with any level of CGI experience) who are interested in learning together and deepening their practice of centering children’s mathematical thinking.

CGI 2025 Regional Conference
  • Friday, May 2nd, 4:00p-7:00p
    – dinner (included), welcome, and keynote speaker.
  • Saturday, May 3rd, 8:00a-4:00p
    – breakfast (included), 75-minute workshop sessions, lunch (included), closing session.
Optional Pre-Conference Session – CGI 101
  • Friday, May 2nd, 9:30a-3:30p
    – CGI 101 Pre-conference session for new-to-CGI educators (separate $50 registration for this workshop; lunch included). Space is limited.

Registration fee covers all conference materials and meals (listed above). Payments may be made by credit card, e-check, or purchase order.

  • Registration fee is $200 per person.
  • Registration for the optional CGI 101 Pre-Conference Session is an additional $50.

We understand that individuals, schools, and districts need more time to complete registration. We will continue with the “early bird” rate of $200 in order to make this conference a possibility for as many as possible. Please check back here for updates.
