Spanish-language Press Coverage for our Computer Science Graphic Novel

The MIT Press

Celebrating our Spanish-language translation of YA STEM graphic novel, Power On!

Earlier this year the MIT Press published the Spanish-language translation of the young adult graphic novel Power On! written by Jean J. Ryoo and Jane Margolis and illustrated by Charis JB. Titled ¡Conectados!, the new translation by Mariana Llanos tells the story of a diverse group of teenage friends who learn how computing can be personally and politically empowering—and why all students need access to computer science education.

This translation project was a new endeavor for the MIT Press, fueled by the authors’ desire to bring their work to the greatest possible audience. To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month—which kicks off this week—we are thrilled to share some of the Spanish-language press coverage for ¡Conectados!.
