During this institute, participants will focus on how statistics is connected to the world and classroom. We see graphs and numbers every day, and understanding them is more important than ever. Each week, we will explore statistics through a theme and relevant context, and then consider how these contexts might be adapted to support different grade levels. The themes we will explore include: randomness, correlations, inferences, and variation.

Each 90-minute synchronous session is accompanied by an additional 30 minutes of asynchronous learning to allow ample time and space for problem solving and reflection.

This institute is open to ALL districts, 6th-8th grade teachers, coaches and administrators.

Cost: $10
