In this interactive workshop series, participants will review the tools and strategies of the Doreen Nelson Method of Design-Based Learning and explore how to incorporate hands-on learning in the distance learning classroom to increase student engagement, participation, and performance.
Each session will feature a presentation of (online) instructional practice from a UCLA Instructor and current Design-Based Learning classroom teacher.
February 11 – Middle School and High School focus
February 25 – Elementary focus
March 11 – Middle School and High School focus
March 25 – Elementary focus
Fee: $15 per session or $50 for all four (All sessions will be different)
