National Board Certification Support Cohort 2013-2014
The UCLA NBPTS Project Support Cohort supports candidates through the National Board Certification journey.
BENEFITS
- Certification support from a National Board Certified Teacher and Candidate Support Provider
- Opportunities to learn and receive feedback with other candidates
- Membership into the UCLA NBPTS Project Network - a NBPTS Network Affiliate Site
- Future information regarding professional learning opportunities offered by the UCLA NBPTS Project and UCLA Center X
- Future information regarding NBC Renewal support
- *UCLA Extension credits that can be applied as salary credit on district salary schedules.
OPTION 1 - In-Person Support
Summer Institute at UCLA
Saturdays - July 13, 20, 27 and August 3 - 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Year-long Support
In person support group at UCLA - second Saturday of the month from 8:30am - 12:30pm
Cost: $600 per participant for support throughout candidate’s certification journey
OPTION 2 -Hybrid In-Person & Online Support
Summer Institute at UCLA
Saturdays - July 13, 20, 27 and August 3 - 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Year-long Support
Online support group - monthly meetings during times to be determined by participants’ schedules
Cost: $600 per participant for support throughout candidate’s certification journey
ADDITIONAL SUPPORT with OPTION 1 or 2
One-on-One Support
In-person or online sessions tailored to your specific needs and schedule
Cost: $250 for five additional hours personalized, individual support
*No refunds after July 13, 2013. UCLA Extension credits available at an additional cost.
