Presenters & Coordinators
Welcome
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your efforts and for sharing your expertise with the teachers in the schools we are servicing. Without you, none of this could happen!
Please note that the Professional Development section of this site contains updated information on inservice presentations. Please check it often and use it as a reference.
How do I get paid?
Presenters receive $80.00/hr and coordinators receive $60.00/hr. This covers preparation time, the cost of copying and mileage. If you serve as both presenter & coordinator, you will be paid for the number of hours you worked in each capacity.
Make sure you have copies of the Attendance Roster and the Evaluation Form before you do your presentation. They contain important information that you must provide in order for you to get paid and for us to receive our funding.
After each presentation, mail the attendance roster and evaluations, and return to this page to download and mail your Timesheet/Invoice.
You may have to install Adobe Acrobat Reader to view PDF files.

Presentation Tips
- Remember to start with an activity.
- Get your audience involved right away and make sure your presentation is as
- interactive as possible.
- Embed the philosophy as you go along.
- Keep your overheads on philosophy or theory to a minimum.
- Show samples of student work. Ask your students to donate their work, or make copies to share. Teachers like to see samples of student work.
- Discuss ways to adapt activities to different grade levels, units, and disciplines.
